Temper — Privacy Policy

Temper is a local-first training app. Sync is optional and only runs after you sign in.

What we collect

• Account identifiers — your Google account ID and email address (used to identify your account and for support).
• Device identifiers — a per-install ID linking your devices to your account.
• Your training data — the workouts, sets, weights, bodyweight, and preferences you enter, so they sync across your devices.

How we use it

Only to provide sync across your own devices. We do not sell or share your data, and there are no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.

Retention & deletion

We keep your synced data until you delete your account. You can delete it in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or on the web at /account/delete. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Health Connect

If you enable it, Temper writes completed workouts to Android Health Connect on your device. This is a write-only, on-device integration; that data is not sent to our servers.
